Privacy & data

Who is responsible
HIGHMDB is operated by Dean Immanuel Blytner and Randam Maramba, Ærøvej 52, 4200 Slagelse, Denmark. We are responsible for the personal data described here. Contact blytner@gmail.com or use our contact form for privacy questions and requests.
Accounts, purchases and downloads
We use your verified email and account identifier to sign you in, link orders to your library and provide purchased files. Order records contain purchased products, prices, payment references, status, the terms accepted and the time you requested immediate digital delivery. This processing is necessary to perform our contract with you, maintain your licensed access and meet record-keeping obligations. We do not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes on HIGHMDB.
Contact and support
The contact form stores your name, email, topic, chosen producer and message so we can answer you and handle order issues. We use this information to respond to your request and for our legitimate interest in providing support. Please do not include payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in a message. Contact messages are reviewed and removed when they are no longer needed to answer the enquiry or resolve a related claim.
Email updates
If you previously asked for HIGHMDB updates, we retain your email and consent while you remain subscribed. You can withdraw that consent by emailing blytner@gmail.com. We do not use a purchase or support enquiry as permission to send marketing.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site, database and file storage and protects Studio access. Clerk provides customer authentication; Google is involved if you choose Google sign-in. Stripe processes payments, billing details, receipts, invoices and fraud checks. These providers receive the data needed for their services and may also process security and technical logs under their own notices. We do not sell personal data or use advertising trackers. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; their privacy notices explain the applicable transfer safeguards.
Browser storage and first-party statistics
Your browser saves your cart and preferred library/Studio view locally. Essential authentication storage is used for sign-in, and a separate cookie is used if you deliberately enter payment-demo mode. First-party statistics record page views, public preview plays and cart additions with a random tab-session identifier that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Statistics contain the referring hostname and a broad device-size category, not URL parameters, IP addresses, advertising identifiers or fingerprints. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable these statistics. Private account and Studio pages are excluded. Fonts are hosted on this site.
How long information is kept
We keep account and license records while needed to provide your continuing purchased access, respond to claims and meet legal obligations. Required accounting records are retained for five years from the end of the financial year they concern. Access to the library may therefore require keeping the email and order/license link for longer than that accounting minimum. Analytics events are deleted after 90 days, and expired download-access tickets are removed regularly. Data needed to establish or defend a legal claim may be retained until the claim is resolved. Ask us to review data that is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal data, and object where we rely on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some order information must be retained for legal obligations or continuing license access. Write to blytner@gmail.com; we may verify your identity before providing or deleting account data. You can complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency, at datatilsynet.dk.
